FACILITIES: This place is top notch, everything is new or nearley new, gear store is well stocked, packing area is the best i've seen (ac, carpeted, tvs with GO PRO cables all over), two different lounging area with couches and tvs, nice back patio area. Landing area is groomed grass (c liscense and above) or high cut grass. And they have a swoop park with a nice pond.

AIRPLANE: Two Sky Vans, A Twin Otter and a Super Van, you've got to be kidding me and theyre all new and super nice.

STAFF: Super friendly, good packers, good DZ briefings.

CROWD: Kinda different here, seem ok but there was a big team event and they kept to themselves (obviously) and everyone else seemed to be on their own program.

Overall: Well laid out DZ, nice scenery, and everythings new!

FACILITIES: Eloy is big and they have everything, a very well stocked gear store, nice packing area, office. The landing area is well groomed grass. The Saloon/ resturant is tasty and clean, and the tunnel on sight is amazing.

Aircraft: Otter in nice shape.

STAFF: Nice and friendly, willing to help.

CROWD: Cant say to well only a few people there when I was but they were cool.Seem to show up early and jump then leave.

OVERALL: Deffinatly a cool DZ, worth checking out maybe hopping in the tunnel and seeing the sights.

I did my first ever skydive, AFF, and got my A-license here at SSD. The staff is awsome, even after completing my A the instructors are more than willing to help you out with whatever you need (tips tricks, they even let me try some of their gear). The planes are good clean and are safe, the dz is very well maintained and very professional. The weather almost always cooperates, but it all depends on the time of year, wind is usually very consistent and generally mild. Overall i love this place the people and the flying.
