This thread was a good one for me to read . A few weeks ago I posted my short little intro to the forums . I will be 52 next week and realize I am not getting any younger to do this kind of stuff but also know you are really never too old to do what interests you . I am dying to start AFF training but right now my wife and I are focused on planning a trip to Hawaii to do lots of scuba diving so I think it will probably happen in the fall . Until then I will keep reading the forums here and learning all I can .

Thanks for the welcome . I live in the desert in California about 150 miles north of LA . I have been planning on going to Taft or Perris but am leaning more towards Taft . Hawaii was a beautiful place to try out a tandem jump . We jumped from 14, 500 ft. right over the ocean on the north shore of Oahu .

I just wanted to say hello here . My wife and made tandem jumps last year in Hawaii and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it . It was the coolest thing I have ever done . I plan on trying an AFF jump sometime soon . I'm not sure exactly when but I'm eagerly looking forward to it .
