  1. Cheers for that matey, I will probably c u soon. I have to deliver my verdict tomorrow weather I will take the job or not (it was initially for Adelaide but i got offered Canberra) its a very tough decision lol. Thanks again. Sean
  2. Hi there, Just looking curious is there any drop zones in Canberra that take fun jumpers? I might be moving there next year. I know Picton is only 2 hours away but just curious if there's anything closer as well. I don't mind driving to Picton, that is fine with me, have they allowed Wingsuits to fly there again? I heard it was banned for a while. Cheers Sean
  3. Hey thanx for the info its been a big help. Hopefully all goes to plan and I get over there in Feb next year. Blue skies Sean
  4. Hi there, I am from Perth Western Australia and I am most probably moving to South Australia for work February 2014. I wish to keep skydiving. I know there are drop zones in S.A and I have looked on the map and located them I just want to ask on here which the busiest ones are, pros and cons in regards to travel to and from the suburbs. I am not asking for any bagging out I just want people's honest opinions and suggestions. Cheers Sean
  5. As soon as I head back to work I am planning to get into some ground launching. This thread has really helped me out with some info on the Daedelus Canopies. cant wait. Cheers Sean
  6. Hey thanx guys, your info helped a lot. I am ex Military but was no jumper. I used to climb a lot and have always been in the mind set of no such thing as too tight. Cheers and blue skies. Sean
  7. Hi guys, I have recently acquired a new container made for my measurements. the measurements were carefully taken with jeans and t-shirt on, I normally jump with this. I received the container and when i tighten the leg straps as far as they go It doesn't feel as tight as my last rig. My last rig I could be very heavy handed with and tighten he leg straps to damn tight, i.e. the point where you cannot get a finger between the strap and my leg, I even used to have an issue with getting a single point restraint on in the plane it was so tight. I guess I was just paranoid or enjoyed the secure feeling. The new container straps do up quite firm and it does not feel like I would fall out or anything serious, I am just curious what the recommended tension is. Is it As tight as you can go just before cutting off circulation or tight enough so you can fit a finger between the strap and your leg? Cheers Guys.
