In recent years there have been some ugly premature deployments from the plane, so think carefully about using the leg pouch for:

- flocks or group jumps
- floater or high speed exits
- when back flying or doing acrobatics

The plane is the obvious way to convert deployment methods if you are heading to the mountains, but IMO better to only use the leg pouch when on your front and by yourself.
