chayes12 0 #1 June 19, 2005 Bad weather in Florida! Round 3 of the Florida league had to deal with Florida summer rain. We were only able to complete two speed rounds for this meet. Here are the results of the meet and the overall standing for the Florida league after 3 rounds. Tyler Lawson took this one and got a new Neptune and $100 cash for the first place finish. More and more skydivers are starting to use the Neptunes to help with altitude awareness under canopy. The Neptune's audible "Swoop Mode" is also proving to be a valuable tool on the Pro Swooping Tour with the Pro's. Bruno Asmann and Chuck Owen both tied for second place and each collected $100 bucks for their finish. Loud Dan showed up again for his second Florida League comp and finished fourth in the standard class and got a 30% off a Performance Designs canopy for his effort. (At this point Loud Dan should be thinkin about Colorado...hint, hint) Performance Designs also provided T-shirts, pull up cords, patches and sticker giveaways for the competitors. Thanks to Alti-2 and Performance Designs for their continued support and interest in our sport of swooping. These two companies have been very supportive of swooping so let's all let them know that we appreciate their interest and continued support. Keep in mind that the regional meets are not only for CPC members. Any non members out there who are interested in swooping, these leagues are for you too. Let's go. Get in the ring. Go swoop!
