Are Russian Dropzones as great as everyone claims?

Recommended Posts

I was at kolomna aerograd dropzone begining of june, one week..55 jumps in four and half days because 2 days was bad weather...13 jumps in one day...with one gear...no packing, if you don´t really want to do it yourself (2,5€ pack jobs)... and i did not even bother to be in first loads at mornings...
4(5) turbolets on site and one Mi-8 helicopter...
more than 80 loads saturday...
jumptickets abaut 15-16€ 4km
hotel (not so cheap,but nice)
bunkhouse looks ugly outside but inside rocks...ok
lot of landing areas..
restaurant and sushi bar for good food... no complaining....
ok,it is still russia... try it, you´ll love it
