mattyblast 0 #1 December 19, 2005 This is great! Somebody has a real twisted (in the good sense) sense of humor. Check this out (not dirty or disgusting--totally safe for work): http://tinyurl.com/7gwu8 LMAO!!! Everyone ask the guy questions--it will make the page look even better if he posts them (I asked him if this item was due for a repack--I can't wait to see what his reply is!)."DOOR!!!" JohnRich 4 #2 December 19, 2005 Sorry, but I need some clue as to what that web site is about, in order to determine if I'm interested, before charging off on a wild goose chase across the internet.
airricks 0 #3 December 19, 2005 QuoteI need some clue as to what that web site is about A box of 'bounce' on ebay.....seems like you could get it for less than 4 bucks at a store though....
FrogNog 1 #4 December 19, 2005 There's one in the Classifieds section, too: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=29593&d=1. Note: you can't put a no-details tinyurl link up on a web forum because people don't know if it might be something like ___ or ___. (If you don't know what two words I was going to put there, you don't want to know and I WILL NOT put them there because I'm saving you from yourself.) -=-=-=-=- Pull. mattyblast 0 #5 December 19, 2005 Fair enough. I thought the "safe for work" disclaimer was enough to put folks at ease, but since folks are requesting more details, here goes: In the Skydiving section of eBay, somebody is auctioning off a box of Bounce fabric softener sheets. The photo shows a box of Bounce sitting on top of a Christmas stocking, although I don't know if the stocking is included or not. It has to be a joke, because as someone has already pointed out, Bounce is cheaper and easier to get just by going to any grocery store. Still, I like this guy's sense of humor. Check it out...there's nothing dirty or offensive, and there are no pop-ups. "DOOR!!!"
mattyblast 0 #6 December 20, 2005 So I asked the person selling this gag gift of "Bounce" fabric softener sheets a couple of questions. (Here's the link to the item again: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7205959608&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AAAQ%3AUS%3A1&rd=1) My questions were: Quote Does this item need a repack? Will this product function optimally on F-111 or zero-porosity fabric? His response? QuoteThis is a gag Gift for your fellow skydiver. A person is said to bounce if the diver fails to deploy their main or reseve. The product should never be used on skydiving equipment. You know, you'd think that somebody as goofy as this eBay clown would get my joke, especially if it's the same kind of humor he's using in the first place. What a butt-twang."DOOR!!!"
