no wonder emploment rate sucks

well the other day (last monday) i went for a job through the local employment agency , a cafe assistant full time real close to the dz :) so i went in filled out the form and gave my resume, well naturally i really really want this job so i called up the employment agancy on thursday
me: hi i was wondering if you could tell me if the position has been filled
her: ill just check, no not yet
me: ok thanks i have actually already appied i was just wondering if there was anything i could do to improve my chances
her: no its up to the emlpoyer now
me: oh ok
her: when did you apply
me: on monday
her: on that soon jeez its a bit early to be calling back
mind you the ad said asap and fri thrue to today (monday) are public holidays. you try to increase your chances and they dont even want to know
