dkpbxman 0 #53 March 24, 2003 Worked the midnight shift with rotating days off for 16 years. I liked it because after work I was able to get in my car, drive for a while and get to the DZ pretty much in time for load 1. Actually prefered having my days off during the week because then the pace at the DZ was less frenetic and I was able to spend more time with each dive. MarkF 0 #57 March 25, 2003 Yeah dammit. This three month project was supposed to finish in December. That's Dec. 2001. Then it got extended for 12 months and I had it all figured out that I'd make my grand return to jumping in Jan. this year. It would've worked out well too, my return to jumping would've happened on my 50th birthday making a pretty neat b'day pressie to myself... It's fun (not) working for a third party between two top tier IT outsourcing suppliers, not named to protect either HP, EDS, CSC, IBM or Fujitsu. Of the two involved in this project one of 'em seems to exclusivly consist of "Managment(tm)" and no-one to actually do the work while the other party seems to consist of workers with no-one to take any responsibility for any decision. How does that stop me from jumping ? I get Wed. and Thu. off purely because I'm an independent risk managment consultant and the "risky stuff" gets attampted on the weekend and cleaned up on Sun night and Mon and Tues. Now that I've got that off my chest...D D N N O O D N N O O N N N O O D D D D O O O O O O O O Ooroo Mark F...
