A canopy jumped in Canada and landed on nice grassy LZ will need relines a lot less often than the one jumped in Arizona. Ask your local rigger to inspect and give you a recommendation. irishrigger 32 #3 January 14, 2012 its depends. a lot can affect it that, as to the climate and location you jump in also how ell you look after your gear, if you always pack on a nice clean carpet or do you pack it outside on the grass and mud? and what your wingloading is etc average,its recommended about 400-450 jumps on a line set.although some people might get a few more jumps. remember that spectra line can and will shrink a hug amount. i found one last year that was 7.5 inches out of trim!! that was my all time record. he was wondering why he was crappy openings!!! he had done 1800 jumps on that canopy! best advice let your rigger inspect and measure the line trim and he will tell you the best course of action rodger Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
