Blahr 0 #1 December 5, 2003 Went to Cross Keys for the first time today. ROOT BEER! Sorry I dont drink alcohol Got there right when they opened (9:00) hoping to make a few but sadly there were no jumpers there. They finally put a load together (a teeny load) around 12:30 after a student arrived to make a tandem. Since I had to leave early afternoon I only managed to get on the one load. Still, thats better than no loads A Caravan with only 4 jumpers gets to 13,500 ft damn fast :-) Lots of leg room too! I'm used to a Cessna 182 with 5 - 6 jumpers packed in that takes about 4 days to get to 10k.

I know they used to pack 5 people on a 182 in the 70's but I didn't think it was technically legal anymore. Something about seatbelts or something.
