Girlfalldown 0 #1 January 30, 2006 I realize it's last minute and I realize I'm an idiot for not getting these sooner but do any of you wonderful people know where I can get a handful of 1099 MISC. forms? I can't find them anywhere around here. I can try and order them from Office Depot but you have to order 50 and we only need 4. Got any extra? I'll send you a bottle of wine if you can get them to me by tomorrow. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)

BillyVance 34 #4 January 30, 2006 Go to the local library. They usually have every form there is. I think the Post Office does too, but not the small town ones."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

Just curious Simply put, 1099 misc. are for people that dont get taxed like an accountant, outside sales brokeres, etc. You have to send them a copy and the gov. a copy so the gov. can tax them. A lot of sales people that work on commission get a percentage of their sales every month and do not get taxed on them. blah blah blah stuff and things. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.) wildblue 4 #17 January 30, 2006 Download TurboTax Premier, fill out/submit 1099 electronically. If you wanted to cheat, technically you just need to give the person their 1099 by tomorrow - they don't need to be filed by then. So you could use the print out form. I think. *disclaimer* I'm not a tax professional, nor do I play one on tv.it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
