When I started AFF last winter, the temp on the ground was in the low to mid 20's the first couple of months. I am really glad I didn't know then how cold it was at altitude. lol "safety first... and What the hell..... safety second, Too!!! sky722 0 #3 October 23, 2008 Well I remember the first time I jumped...I didn't have any head gear on....and my ears froze on the way down...after I touched down,my ears was so numb,it must have took an hour for them to thaw out..

LOSTandCRAZY 0 #5 October 23, 2008 I'll be finishing up my "A" around Christmas, but I did a SMART thing. I went to Dick's and bought some NICE THERMALS, and some North Face Gloves (no grips, grips can mess with your ability to remove your hands from the toggles) These are what mountain climbers use, so you can stay nice and toasty when you're free-falling."Get these balls!" joonas 0 #6 October 23, 2008 We had a winter boogie at January. Temperature was -5'F (at ground) and we went to 12 000ft. So... welcome to Finland.
