  1. Hi! My right ear started to whistle over a year ago. I have audible on that side and I have been using it on over 700 jumps. My tinnitus is at 12 000 Hz (over 80 dB) and it is continuously. There is also -20 dB hearing loss at 9000 - 12 000 Hz. So I have been wondering this too. Since that, I have been using LED (http://www.l-and-b.dk/images/products/lg/LB_optimaII05.jpg) in Optima and ear plugs before the exit.
  2. "Convert videos at amazing speed Once Nadine clicks the “Start” button, her 15-minute movie is ready to watch in just 15 minutes. It would take over an hour for other AVCHD converters and Mac movie applications to accomplish this same task★. What’s more, the movie is automatically optimized for the format she chose and if applicable, added to her iTunes library, ready to sync." and "Turbo.264 HD dramatically accelerates video encoding when used with Mac applications such as iMovie, QuickTime Pro, Final Cut Pro, and EyeTV."
  3. Hey all AVCHD-dudes and dudettes. Check out this: http://www.elgato.com/elgato/int/mainmenu/products/Accessories/Turbo264HD/ :)
  4. I have CX105 and I use it with iMovie '09. It works just fine. Plug USB-cable in and iMovie recognizes your camera automatically. Then select clips that you want to use and press import. Easy as that. :) Importing 60s clip took 44s with my MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz / 4 Gb.
  5. I made first jumps with my CX105. Footage looks great and importing/editing with iMovie 09 was really easy. Im impressed. :)
  6. First con. Copying is possible only from internal memory to Memorystick. Not the other way. So... I would recommend to use internal memory as default, because then it's much easier to share footage: just put your friend's Memorystick in and use dub-function. :)
  7. I have CX105 + Hypeye D Pro and it works like a charm. Make sure that you have "power on by lcd" off from general settings (menu -> toolbox -> page 2 -> general set). 1. Do that ^ 2. Turn camera on by pressing on/off -button 3. Connect Hype Turning camera off: Keep Hype's button pressed until light flashes, then release it -> off Turning camera on: Keep Hype's button pressed for a short time Rec on / stop: Short click Hype's button Should work! :)
  8. I have Cookie MXV with top mounted Liquid Flatlock. Camera is almost smaller than Flatlock camera plate. :P
  9. I got my CX105 today. It IS small! I will put some sample clips with Raynox 3030 later. :)
  10. Check out: http://www.shedworx.com/flamingohd :)
  11. Whoa! It looks good. I think that a carbon fiber box is too clumsy for that small camera, so I made a sample of tight neoprene jacket. I'll post some pics when the final version is ready. If someone is interested, I may do few extra jackets. :) Edit: clove -> jacket ;)
  12. We had a winter boogie at January. Temperature was -5'F (at ground) and we went to 12 000ft. So... welcome to Finland.
  13. Old HD-version was much better. You can download it from here: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/imovieHD6.html
