I absolutely loved my visit and jump. Everyone was so nice and open to hanging out since I showed up early. Nicest people I've ever met. GiLa was my tandem partner and he is a professional skydiver. It was great to have him jumping with me and I would highly recommend someone choose him when they come to jump!

Start Skydiving is the BEST place to get started on your journey to the sky. They took me through my first ever jump 2 years back, and it was such a great experience, that I came back and did another jump today! Everyone is super friendly and if you have any anxiety (although I never did) I'm sure they can coach anyone and get you excited! There is absolutely nothing better than the thrill you get during your freefall experience, and I have yet to meet a tandem instructor that I don't like. Lonnie Kirk took me through my jump today, took some amazing photos, and cracked jokes along the way. He also let me do tons of flips in the air, so he's kind of my favorite person ever right now =). GO TO START SKYDIVING.....you won't regret it!

This is the best place for first time tandem jumpers. Instructors like Monkey Lip and Paul Vignal ease all fears with their detailed instruction and experience. The Staff is kind and attentive. There is no pressure or embarrassment if you just can't do it. I have completed two tandem jumps here, once with Paul and once with Monkey. I love this place and recommend it to everyone who has ever dreamed of skydiving!

This was my first jump and it couldn't have been anymore exhilarating. I jumped tandem, with Gila, and he was the best instructor I could have asked for. He made my time there worth my time and definitely intensified my first jump. Seriously come to StartSkydiving in Middletown, Ohio. It will not disappoint.

My Mom and I were originally scheduled to jump on the 19th (my Birthday) with David Helton and Lonnie Kirk however due to the weather we had to reschedule. I was obviously disappointed after a couple of hours of trying to "ride out" the storm, but had a great experience just the same thanks to David and Lonnie.

Today we finally got to jump, my mom with Jon Stewart and myself with the one and only Dan Paganini. I can not say enough about how WONDERFUL Dan was. Naturally this being my first jump I was not only excited but a little nervous as well. However, Dan immediately put my nerves at ease with his carefree spirit and sense of humor. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through each and every step making sure I had an experience of a life time!! I can't imagine my first jump with anyone else!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Middletown team and I can't wait for my next jump!!

This experience was an absoulte 10 out of a 10 . There were 3 of us in the group and we will all be back with friends . Our guides Monkey Lip , Gila ad Pags were fantastic !!

I had an amazing experience!!! It was my first time, I came with my family and all the instructors made us feel very welcome. My tandem instructor was named Alex and he was awesome. Very informative, calming, and helped ease me when I was nervous. I would definitely recommend going here, I will be going back over and over again potentially every year. Thanks so muchh!! :D

I would 100% recommend Start Skydiving to anyone. They are very professional and they make sure that all your needs are met. Being it my first skydive, I was very nervous but all of the staff made me feel very comfortable. By the time we were on the plane I wasn't as nervous because the staff were making jokes and taking your mind off the jump. My tandem jumper was "Monkey" and he was very professional and I felt secure with him. If you are having worries about skydiving, DON'T! There is nothing to worry about, just have fun and enjoy the ride!

I had an amazing experience at Start Skydiving. Any qualm I had was relieved without me even asking questions. Trev was wonderful to me. He made me laugh and feel very comfortable being strapped to him at 11,500 feet about the Earth. My videographer Rob was fantastic as well. He took incredible shots of my boyfriend and I.
The facilities were incredible. I was expecting a small room with some equipment, but it was an entire hanger with comfortable seats, food, and cornhole (and incredible skydiving equipment of course).

Everyone was very friendly. All of the staff made sure I was at the right place and felt comfortable.

I really enjoyed how fast I got on the plane from the time I arrived. I thought I was going to be in courses all day, but I was efficiently explained what I needed to know and got to do what I came there for, skydive! In all, I was there 2.5 hours, and there was no point where I felt like I wasn't comfortable with my surroundings.

I could rave more about Start Skydiving, but until you go, you cannot fully appreciate these comments. So what are you waiting for?!

This was the most amazing experience I've ever had in my entire life. I cannot wait to go back. Not that I've had experience with any others, but my instructor was the best. I could not have asked for a better guy, Matt Harvey. He knew everything there is to know and he made me feel so comfortable. WHEN I go again, I'm going to do everything in my power to have him again. I bought the &89 package to have photo stills and a video shot of me and it was absolutely worth it. My camera man was amazing, too. I was ready to go again 30 minutes later, although I didn't. There was like, a line or something. ;)
But I seriously cannot wait to go again. AMAZING is such an understatement!

HOLY CRAP! I could not have had a better tandem instructor - Pags (Dan) or video guy, Rocky the Red Flying Squirrel (Tom). There is no way anyone can adequately articulate the experience, it just comes out sounding like jibberish and maniacal laughter. You just have to DO IT. And whatever you do, do NOT close your eyes. Seriously amazing, cathartic stuff! I'm pretty sure I left my ex-husband in the clouds, which was the intention. ;-P

Everything else: The facility was immaculate; the gear was very well organized; the staff was friendly; the flow was so smooth, I would have thought it was all choreographed (maybe it is). Back to the staff - From the office, to the instructors to the kid who does the videos at the end... There is definitely a sense of respect and genuine comraderie. Made for a truly enjoyable experience. Also, I highly recommend investing in the video even if you have to beg or borrow (but not steal - that's wrong). It is better to jump and feel AWESOME than to jump and regret you didn't document it. :-D (disclaimer: I have no vested interest in whether you get it or not... I just know that sitting here 3 hours later, I'm seriously glad I did!)

I could not have asked for a better instructor. Just when I was starting to get anxious my instructor, Monkey Lip, walked me through every step and told me exactly what was going to happen. Definitely made my nerves go away. Amazing experience!

The only thing I would recommend is to check the weather beforehand, especially on a Saturday. The girls at the front desk were in such a hurry to get out of there that they were having people reschedule their jumps for a later date. Had they not been in a rush to get out of work, everyone who rescheduled could have had the same great experience when they had originally scheduled.

My jumping partner, Gila, made the experience comfortable and relaxing for me. I wasn't nervous or scared at all. Usually I'll freak out, but I was feeling like "Damn it I wanna jump already! haha". Nothing beats that feeling that I got in the plane and during the free fall, and the landing. It's difficult to describe, but it's something I'll remember for the rest of my life. I reccommend jumping with Start Sky Diving. Gila talked me through every step. He asked if I remembered everything he told me and that I didn't have to lie, but I took every word to memory. He made me laugh, even if he might not had heard me because it was so loud in the plane, but it's easy to make me laugh. I love to giggle. I was so relaxed, that I got to enjoy my fall rather than freak out. I was the first to jump out. I wish I remembered the name of my photographer, but he was amazing! Super nice. I hope to do it again in my life time. Every one thinks I'm so brave. To me, it felt like going for a ride. I'm a thrill seeker. I had faith and trust in Gila when it came to my safety. The team was amusing and sweet. My friends had a good time, and I still can not shut up about that wonderful day!

I cant write enough on this page to tell you how much fun I had on my first jump in Middletown! Lonnie Kirk was my instructor and he was pivotal in making my first jump the most fun and relaxed it could be! All of the staff were extremely helpful! I strongly recommend your first jump be at Middletown regional airport! I'm already planning my second jump Thank you!

I had a blast at Start Skydiving! The team was amazing. Especially my Tandem Instructor John Garrido! He made me feel very comfortable and he made the experience even better. Also had Gila as an Instructor. I probably forgot most of the instruction the moment we left the plane, but he was experienced enough for it not to matter. He forced me to have the most enjoyable first dive I could have hoped for.

My instructor was MonkeyLip, and he was great. Since I had jumped before, we did a different type of exit, some fun spins, and I was able to land on my feet. He was fun, professional, and kind. I recommend Start Skydiving to anyone who has ever had an inkling of trying skydiving, and I especially recommend them for folks who want to go but are a little nervous. They will make you at ease! Big fun!!!

Upon my arrival, I was greeted at every turn. Everyone was so excited and heartwarming and they just pumped you up. I met my instructor Lonnie Kirk and right away I could tell this was going to be a great experience. He was very nice and also professional. Even on the most nerve-racking plane ride I've ever been he kept me calm by telling jokes. Then came the time to jump and I was not nervous at all. We jumped out and right away it was amazing. The scenery was beautiful and it was all caught on camera by Melanie and Shawn. My overall experience was amazing and I would love to make a solo jump in the future.

We (my daughter and I) had an awesome time. Everyone was very professional but at the same time the atmosphere was very fun and exhilarating. John (instructor) and Rob (photographer) really put me at ease for my first jump. It was gggreat!

This was my first time skydiving and I am sure it won't be my last! The experience was amazing and I was a lot calmer than I thought I would be. My tandum partner ... Trev or Trevor (can't read his writing, but he was the Aussie) was amazing. He went through what I needed to do several times, did calm breathing with me and made me super comfortable. He deserves more beer! I would recommend to anyone!

By far one of the greatest things I have ever done! Adam was my instructor and he made sure I was confident and had plenty of knowledge on proper skydiving. Even the staff members other than my instructor were making sure I was motivated and ready to jump. Overall it was an awesome experience and the people, the atmosphere, and the services were great!

First time skydiver. Took my dad who is 60+. Had Matt and Tags as our instructors and these guys are awesome, as is the rest of the staff that we met on our jump. Everyone makes you feel at ease while also making sure you enjoy the experience as much as possible. The bottom line you are insane if you DON'T go skydiving here.
