Skydive Allegan

I visited Skydive Allegan on my quest to jump in all 50 States…Dennis and Emily Bennett run a professional operation that combines a well-run business with a collegial atmosphere. The vibe is open and friendly and the processes are efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and my jump at Skydive Allegan.

Where to even begin. 

I came to this oasis already a licensed jumper looking for a new home. I found it, and I knew it right away. There was no push to try to get me to come there all the time and spend money, but there was an appropriately tempered feel to welcome a new person while also letting them feel things out for themselves, as we all want to do.

Now, have gone from complete new person to feeling right at home, I’ve seen the hard work of the staff, the unyielding push from the owner for increased safety, efficiency, improvement, and overall betterment of every aspect of this dropzone and it’s tragectory for the future. 

Every type of skydiving is accommodated here. There are two VERY well looked after planes, a party/camp spot, down to earth people, no one here even knows what a SkyGod is because that mentality was exiled so long ago. 

Big dropzone drive, while maintaining a “small dropzone” atmosphere. 

Obviously I can’t put into words well enough what this place is to me, SO COME CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF. You’ll be very happy you did. 

I started jumping here in the summer of 2012, in less than a year I have put in about 100 jumps at this DZ. I have jumped 6 other DZ's in tne same year, none with the relaxed but safety conscious feel of this one! What great views too, all the small lakes and rivers & Lake Michigan in the backdrop!

Had a great experience visiting their DZ while on vacation in SW Michigan. Showed up and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming of a visiting skydiver. They put up a lot of tandems, but were very accommodating of getting fun jumpers up as quickly as possible. Will definitely go back to jump with them again. Highly recommended trying out this DZ if you're in SW Michigan area.

It's a great little DZ with fun and experienced staff. They put up plenty of tandems but make a point to get the fun jumpers up in the air just about as often as they want.

I just did my first and second jump their. The people were very cool and explained everything very well. I felt very safe on both trips, even though for the first I was pretty nervous about exiting the plane. I plan to continue to get all my needed training and jumps from these guys.. Thanks
