hahaha I know what your saying and no she really wants to get back up there. loved the rush its just the doctor spooked her by saying another break will most likely puncture her lung. Reading through these posts has inspired her to disregard the advice :)

Thankyou so much for all the replies, I really hope this pushes her to get back on the bike :) and as for scaring me off no chance I will jump I just need to pull my finger out and organise it :) thanks again

It happened 3 years ago and she fractured her 7th 8th and 9th left side for the second time causing damage to the muscle and tissue in the surrounding area.

My girlfriend's no stranger to skydiving having done 2 jumps before but after an attack she was left with broken ribs. The ribs have long since healed up but the doctor said it would be unwise and would most likely rebreak her fragile ribs. My question is are there any harnesses or the like that cater for similar problems? maybe supporting or taking the pressure away from that area?

I'm a skydiving virgin so part of the reason I'm here is to take the first step towards a jump. Also got a few questions from my girlfriend so will find the relevent threads to ask said questions :)
