CSpenceFLYHave you tried talking to the guy about why you have a problem with where the plane sits?
^that
If you don't own it or the land it sits on, you really don't have any options other that bugging him to do something. -
Whoa! people are still expecting this helmet to actually be produced?! -
If I were them i'd fire the marketing guy. Why make a big announcement and then not answer any questions about it or really acknowledge it at all? Can anyone from Aerodyne provide an update or any basic information about this canopy? -
We've got a local that has made some carbon fiber enclosures for CX cameras top mounted on a mindwarp. I think he goes by skyjumpinfool on here. He may be willing to offer some advice on how to go about making one of your own.

I picked one up and like it. Turns out the memory card does make a difference when shooting continuous. Using a 20mb/s class 10 UHS-1 card, I got bored holding down the shutter button before it slowed down. I did notice about to "hiccups" where it skipped a beat but then got right back up to 4fps
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/indepth/photography/hands-reviews/hands-review-canon-eos-rebel-sl1?BI=2446&KBID=3296QuoteStills in the form of JPEG, RAW and JPEG+RAW and MOV H.264 video are saved to SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. As for burst rates in continuous shooting mode, you can expect to capture 28 Large JPEGs, 7 RAW or up to 4 Large JPEG+RAW images before filling the camera’s buffer. When shooting to UHS-1 memory cards you can expect to capture up to 1140 JPEGs, 8 RAW or up to 4 JPEG+RAW still images in continuous mode. It’s worth noting that the EOS Rebel SL1 also features a silent shooting mode which, while it slows continuous-shooting frame rates, comes in very handy when shooting in sound-sensitive environments.

I love my digitude -
Trunk, (or anyone) so these numbers were given after canon tests with their 8gb SD card. Is there any information available as to continuous shooting or fps using a sandisk extreme pro 95mb/s SD Card? Will a high quality card like that significantly improve performance and buffer clearing? -
QuoteHoly crap that SL1 sounds awesome! I wonder if it has the same sensor and image quality as the T5i?

This video from canon says they have the same sensor and processor. -
Those discounts are generally off the MSRP. Many dealers don't sell at MSRP. Square1 for example sells the Icon pro for 2370 which is $400 below MSRP and the pilot is sold there for $1850, $200 off retail.
SO i'd talk either directly to them or discuss pricing options with a local dealer.
Edited for spelling -
Quote1- Take a deep breath.
2- Get off the internet (but finish reading this post 1st)
3- Go to your 1st jump class and listen to your instructor.
Best possible advise in the first reply. -
Although the good beer is usually [read: always] found in bottles, you can fit more in the fridge with cans

Yeah, one of the free flyers who helped organize it said she wanted to turn points. I was skeptical but it turned out awesome. Stay tuned, were gonna experiment with more hybrid stunts -
Thanks all, it was a blast! -

I know nothing about the subject but saw this on the jump shack site FWIW this URL is the extent of my knowledge.

It's kind of a nice problem to have huh? I'm going to make it a point to try and visit all of them this season. However, my biggest draw will be wherever the fun jumping is happening. There's also that otter... But I can't wait to check out the newest place to the north. -
I think the military ram airs are a version of the sillouhette. correct me if i'm wrong -
The desert wears on gear no matter what the fabric. This is the only case of quick wearing ZPX I have seen after doing a lot of looking around before buying my Pilot this past summer. -
There ya go.
Thanks for the touch up pops -

Many recomend Food Grade Silicon. Ace seems to be a popular brand. Oil based lubes will attract and hold onto dirt, so maybe no PAM.

Quotethe rigger had a canopy that was in very bad shape for the number of jumps.
he is neutral in his opinions for all canopies and always provides non biased views. he's always been helpful and reliable in his advice. im keen on the zpx for the smaller pack volume and it suits my current skill level
Had to ask.
I looked at your profile it doesn;t have a location listed. What type of climate do you (and presumably your rigger) jump in? That may have something to do with your rigger's experiences with it. -

I haven't really seen much abou longevity. They do advertize a higher strength than standard ZP. IS your rigger also your dealer? How does he feel about Aerodyne in general? And does he have any specific examples to back up his claim?
ETA: Aerodyne also makes all of their main canopies in standard ZP as well. -
