    Pretending Iran isn't at war with Israel based on its comments and its direct funding of combatants is a bad starting point in a discussion. No one cares if it is "direct" by your reasoning. Israel would care a lot less if it was just words, and not real action being taken against them.

    BTW, it's a lie anyway- the attack on the US embassy was certainly a direct attack.

  4. Israel will do what ever it wants to do. My problem is US involvement. Israel is in a tough neighborhood and of course it has the right to defend itself. But Israel does itself no favours, the treatment of Palestinians is criminal. I believe striking Iran would be a bad call, retaliation would be fearce and the loss of civilians on both sides would be too much.

  5. Of course its not ok. But it doesnt warrant the killing of hundreds of thousands of civilians. America funds attacks all the time. Should America not be bomb then? Its a middle east problem. Leave it to the middle east. Team america needs to keep its nose out. The last thing america needs is a reason for more extremist Muslims to be recruited. Learn form Iraq and Afghanistan...

  7. Thanks for your reply, the obvious escaped me for a moment. Of course nukes have been tested and nobody want a country with nukes. The difference is the rest of the world wont go to war over this issue. USA and Isreal have nukes.... why cant another sovereign nation that has not attacked a country in 2000 years? because you don't like them?

  10. Ive jumped at Deland, Z-Hills in 2009. Last may I had the luck of my work transfering me from Ireland to Phoenix and now Eloy is my local DZ! I love Deland but eloy is the the place to be. These points may help you.

    Weather - On my two week trip to florida I had only 7 jumpable days. I was in Ariziona 6 months before I had my first weathered out day.

    Load organizers - Eloy wins hands down. Its a monster of a dropzone but its friendly as a small DZ. The load organizers are very friendly and approachable. And there are freefly and belly organizers working everyday.

    During the winter its always busy, always people to jump with and the tunnel is right there aswell.

    You would be crazy not to go!

    But yeah, I have to agree with some people here. It does drive me a little nuts when I talk to some American and they tell yu they are Irish and they have never even set foot in the country. "I'm Irish, my great great grandpa was irish, I'm an irishman" :S

    I haven't seen this in any other country either, its wierd!!

    I bought a CX115 at the weekend, when i put on my royal .3 lens and set the focus i can see the corners of the step up ring int the picture. Am I doing something wrong with the settings?

    I'm thinking of getting a raynow .43 for filming tandems. Will i have the same issue?

  19. I live in dublin some of the time, I dont like it at all but I'm forced to stay here half of every week due to work. Dublin got destroyed during the econmic boom, everyone here got greedy and mean and we lost alot of the friendlyness that Ireland was known for.

    To see the old Ireland and to try and escape the nastyness of Dublin you have to head down the country. A previous poster mentioned Kilkenny, this is a great place. My favorite city in Ireland is Galway, I cant describe how much it rocks. Doolin is also legendary.


    Temple bar is a fun place to go out in dublin but its mostly tourists there, the pubs charge €6 and upwards for a pint in temple bar! check out this pub in dublin, http://www.myspace.com/thecobblestone its a real irish bar ;;)


    Where ever you go you probably wont remember much anyway, you will be drunk as an ass. The guinness is unreal here, its just not the same anywhere else!

    Buy your euros now!!!! the exchange rate for you americans is great. I'm heading to florida next week and I'm getting killed on the exchange rate. I cant wait to jump at DeLand and Z-Hills!!!

    I'm comming from Ireland for 2 weeks during may to do as many jumps as possible, Where would you advise me to jump? I'm bringing one rig and I'll need to rent a second one, so rental will need to be cheap. I cant believe how cheap tickets are at Lodi! I hear skydive chicago is good but do they get good weather? Also I'll be comming by myself so a nice friendly dropzone would help and lots of people willing to jump with me would be great.

  25. My friend dislocated his shoulder loads of times, The first was in bedford wind tunnel. then it happened every time he jumped. He ended up having to have surgery on his shoulder. A hook was placed in the ball of his joint so it would give more support. We are both going to Empuria next week and he is going to have his 1st jump after surgery! Fingers crossed!!!!
