I've been jumping at Perris for about six years and, last sat. was one of the worst days for dust devels I've ever seen. Wasn't even that hot. Never did make a jump that day.

Just kept saying to myself, "The only thing worse than being on the ground, wishing you were in the air. Is, being in the air and, wishing you were on the ground".

Congratulations, PRO. Yea, I still can't get the grin off my face either. It was nice being in the class with you, Charley, and Elsa. Also, wanted to say thanks for the help and encouragement.

In the almost six years of this sport, I've met some really great people. But never have I met a more professional, knowledgeable, giving, and talented person than Jay Stokes.

Holly, Lord of the flys Batman. I just spent my first hour in speakers corner. Your right. It can be quite the snake pit. My first thought here (as a new guy) is, how can a sport that has surrounded it self with great people going out of there way to help each other, have a place with people going out of there way to hurt and put down others? Maybe I'll cruz some other forums for a while. Plenty of constructive stuff to read here.

Yea, I'll probably just be a fly on the wall for a lot of stuff here. I hopefully will post like I skydive. And that is, "to humbly help others, don't get cocky, and always be willing to learn".Oh yea, and have fun.

THC and a Stargate machine was about as good as it got back then. Then I found out about girls. I guess it all went down hill after that. Ether way, the darn things (girls or games) took half my money.

I don't consider a 3.7 big, but I will say that I felt it all the way down here in Huntington Beach. I'm guessing thats about 600 miles or so. It's the first one I've felt in a year or two.

Why, just because you hung out here to try and learn something, and not chit-chat? Saaaay, your not one of those safety minded type people are ya? Just kidding... I've been here all of two days, and from what I can tell about my new favorite web site is that it's a vary friendly place.

Thanks. I've got a few jumper friends I need to tell about this place. Hopefully it'll get them motavated to start jumping again.

Some one told me about dropzone.com at safety day last weekend at Elsinore. I feel like a little kid in a candy shop, reading all these posts. I wish I would have found this place years ago. What a great place to gather skydive knowlage. And to think that I spent all that money buying beers for more experienced jumpers at the end of the jump day.NOW YA TELL ME... Well, just wanted to say hi! and blue skys..
