I just left you a message, give me a call whenever you get the message, i will be up most of the night packing up my stuff, and elevating some furniture in case (most probably will since im in a low lying area) the water comes into my place.   9. i cant make the boogie this weekend due to the folks being in town, but I just made my flight and car rental to TF from 9/14 to 9/19. just wondering whether there will be anyone around during that time. Is Don ( the Boat guy) still picking up people at the bottom? Which hotels/motels give the best BASE jumper discount?

  13. I have little experience so take my comments with a grain of salt. When I took Johnny's course last year at the Perrine, I noticed that the people who had the multi had a greater chance for offheading. Those observations convinced me to not purchase any canopy that had the multi (I originally was going to get a new Fox). I even saw (and of course I have it on video) where the excess of the multi is figure eighted into rubberbands hung up and caused a short, but very noticeable delay in the extraction of the canopy from the container. first when we were on the top of the bridge we thought it was a PC hesitation, but upon reviewing the video, the flaps opened and the excess hung up on bands at the top of container. Container: Neo, Canopy: Fox 285(?) with multi.

  18. mine felt like time had slowed down that second i first stepped off, it felt like an eternity even though when i see it on video it happened really fast as it was a pca. When i landed my legs where shaking uncontrollably and i screamed in excitement, wanting to gather my gear as fast as possible so i can pack and do another one as soon as possible. I have never felt more alive in my life than when i do a base jump.

  23. My brother and his friends are having a bachelor party in Las Vegas so I decided to leave a few days before they arrive in LV and drive to Moab to do my first E. I have contacted Marta but I am not sure if she will be there during those particular days. Are there any other locals in the area who wouldnt mind showing me around if at all possible, PM me.
