Hi,
we've been doing the same in Belgium for a few years now and made our own licencing system to provide some guidance to beginners...
Yearly we do 2-3 skill camps where we try to spread the knowledge, and ask any belgian freeflyer and he/she wil confirm you that it seems to work/help. Licenses are free and coaching on those days is only 7,5 EUR ! (ticket of coach included !) thanks to the support of the clubs and federation.
Have a look at http://www.freefly.be for our system and there is also an english PDF for download
Hope this helps,

Not if he is 15 yrs old and only has 50 jumps and is not aware that he is a test jumper ...
And it was not an experimental jump, it was a WARP ... -
I informed myself an it was Mr Goorts his son that had an argus misfire.
Now I don't care about the battle between AAD's but when you let your 15 yr old son jump with test-material there is something wrong with you ... -
Was there a misfire ?
I was there all weekend long (first to last load) and did not hear about it.
We had some reserve rides, but none involving AAD for as far as I know ...
I might have missed this ... but it normally catches my attention -
Yep, it was wet from a pond landing and I really tried to get the shit out...
Knot was just below the slider.
