  1. A friend at my old DZ had the rigger make him a 2" wide strap with velcro on it.
After he cacooned the canopy he would put the strap around it to hold the canopy and not allow it slide out when S-folding and he would undo the strap and take it off after he had the canopy in the bag. Although I gave him a ton of shit for not being able to pack without a crutch it seemed to work pretty well for him.

Don't forget to take the strap off that would be bad.

  2. If I where you I would hold out until you can't down size any further with that container. When I first started jumping I bought a new container and it didn't last very long because it got too big to hold the canopy I downsized to.

Cold weather jumping, wear multiple layers (long t-shirts/sweatshirt under your jump suit) make use you can feel all your handles with gloves on and don't bulk on clothing so it hides your handles.

Have fun freezing your ass off

  3. I would have to agree with Trent, Firefly suits are the way to go I've had mine for about a year and shows no wear and Sherry is awesome to deal with, my suit with 3 colors was $260.00. Firefly is a slimmer fitting suit I'm about 220lbs out the door and I have no problem flying with the smaller people the suit has great range

  4. It's actually my Dads camera I'll have to call him I think he has the camera and the tape back at the Sony repair shop. He showed it to me you can see the video and it will have black stripes pretty evenly spaced going across the screen horizontally

  5. I have a Sony TRV38 lately I have been getting lines across the video, I have cleaned the heads with a cleaning tape and also had an authorized Sony repair shop look at and clean it. I use Sony Premium tapes and the camera is in a D-Box has anyone else had problems with this model?
