He seems to just run right out of his rig upon landing. I can see undoing the chest strap in the air, but how does he get those leg straps off so quick without even seeming to touch them?

He could shave a few seconds by donning the new rig inside the plane while it's rolling down the runway, instead of doing it on the ground before climbing into the plane.

An AN-2 should do the trick.

and what infrastructure are you talking about? As I understand it (and I may well be wrong!) these guys aren't a conventional army with conventional infrastructure.

They supposedly make millions of dollars off of oil wells which they have taken over. So, one strategy that occurs to me, is to cut off the source of their income, by bombing those oil wells.

But what the heck do I know...
