Right now you would have to go to Pacific for fun jumps. They just require a B license. Also there is a Facebook group, Hawaii Fun Jumpers. Check it out and there may be a pretty good chance you could find a ride to the DZ.

I plan on going to Summerfest at Skydive Chicago. What are some insights for a newbie, I've heard the large boogies can be almost overwhelming for a new jumper(canopy traffic, etc).

Who has been to Summerfest, and what are some tips for a newbie to get the most out of it?

Recently licensed, took some time because of being in the army. Looking forward to making many more great friends in this sport. Should be heading to Summer Fest at Skydive Chicago this year.
