  1. Perhaps, like others have said, it's just not the sport for you. For me skydiving was a crazy thrill at the start, It scared me shitless and I was packing at least a semi-chub each time I landed;). Now I don't get a buzz out of the freefall part at all, I get the buzz when I'm on the ground and I high-five the people I jumped with and I get to share the memory of flight with them.

I say stick with it for a while if money isn't a factor. Once you have done a solo and scared yourself a bit you will realise how much there is to the sport and hopefully you fall in-love with it and spend all your money like I have :)

  2. I hope I never have to chop.. But I most likely will at some stage. I may even have three or four or 20!
I'm a mix of both questions. I look forward to it so I can experience it and become more confident with my EPs. On the same note, I don't look forward to it, lost canopy, handles ect.ect.

I did find myself thinking "man, i just wanna have a chop" when I was helping out with a guys star-crest:P

  3. RW is great! Granted I've not done much free flying or anything else for that matter but that's just a testament to how enjoyable RW is for me.

Each their own. I will never understand the beef between different disciplines. We are all jumping out of planes because we enjoy it. As long as you do it in a safe manner that is all that should matter.

  4. Ah, great! thank you so much for the video. I'm hopeless with written instructions.

No need for the concerns, once I am eligible to jump it (only 20 more jumps) I will most likely get my mate scott paterson to coach me.
Also, I am always up for jumping with new people so I may take you up on that offer. I'll be sure to get in touch :)

    thank you again.
    Blue skies and kind regards,

    Alex

  5. Hey there bird-people!
Sorry if this has already been posted, i did check the search bar, promise.
I just got my wingsuit delivered and can't jump for a while due to uni. I was just questioning whether or not there is a video on assembling the rig to the wingsuit or someone could give me some hints. there isn't a manual on the phoenix fly website.

    Thank you kindly,

    Alex

  6. Ten days late.. But they are wonderful! A nice jump from 15 today and more coming tomorrow. So close to my B license.
Hope all is well with you and I wish you bright blue skies and little wind :)
