Twin towers and all of the other stuff they were able to pull off before the HEROES (All military) went to their homes and kicked their butts!!!

    What about this?

We send this kids to protect us and our freedom by risking their own skin. We first send them to war and then we show no support!!! I'm sure that the guy with the "Offensive" tattoo had his good reasons to have that.

It's easy to be on a couch and do nothing while 20 years old are doing the hardest job that exists and pretend that when they come back after they lost hundreds of friends on the battlefield they'll be respectful of the enemy.

Serious question, are you a parody account?

It reads like it's written by some hilariously cliched middle aged southern white male saluting the flag while getting teary eyed. MERICA!

I'll bet you wouldn't have the berries to say that in a group of enlisted persons. Big talker on the net.

The amount of irony here is reaching overload proportions.

Surely you must see the contradiction in claiming that the military is vital to freedom and then suggesting that the same military would restrict someone's right to free speech?

And secondly, you're making a threat against someone on the Internet and simultaneously telling them they're a "big talker on the net".

    I don't think you've thought this through.

I am not complaining. i am pointing out what you are. a dishonest troll.

You seem to be avoiding his question though by just calling him a troll. That kind of avoidance tactic is common with people who can't legitimately win an argument, so they just evade. So yeah, that's the impression you're giving with this.

  4. You do realize (actually, you probably don't) that by trying to get the "last word" (or last post) that you are keeping this thread alive. The exact same thread that shows you in a terrible light.

So by all means, keep posting.

I’ve got to say what others are probably thinking.... SHENANIGANS

Near a 1000 posts in three months without a single skydive. This is either a school project on the sociology of web forums or a bet between some college students (I’ll guess the attempt for listing a jump# from falling down was for an extra case of beer). The picture of the young girl as an avatar is a clever ploy; is this a friend that lives in the dorm?

Interesting thought, and I'd like to believe it was true.

If it is a hoax, the 'real' person is very clever. Unlike the persona...

I'm sorry but you could probably find a poll that shows a trend in people believing that the moon is made of cheese. Polls are manipulated to show what you want them to.

Do you consider yourself someone who is inquisitive about the world, or someone who prefers not to have their beliefs and views challenged?

Perhaps if someone showed you a burning bush that would convince you?

I'm sorry; My mind drifted off at "identical". Could you repeat that?:$

    It made me cringe personally.

There are 2 of her running around :S

It's okay, by her own admission the other one is a lot smarter.

Im beleive that soceity has a much greater impact on youth once they reach a certain age...however before that their parents bear the greatest burden of getting their children to represent their parents in similar fashion. A vast majority of gay men have a defective male role model in their lives when they were young....from either being too hard (dad yelling at kid at little league game berating him) or the opposite spectrum...not being there at all. Its my opinion that the parents are the ones that mold children into what they are. For example...if you take your kid with you to run drug deals..then its a good chance that kid is going to grow up a thug. Its also telling that there are some parents who do the best they can in the time they have but the impact of soceity on that child was too much and the child chose a different path than what the parents had. To sum up, I think the children are shaped by their immediate surroundings to become what they are rather than just having 'feelings they cant control'...which probably has its place too, but not a prevalent as what I described.

If that was the case, then we would never have a case where a family has two kids-- say they're twins just for shits and grins in this story. Both raised the same, both had the trophy mom and dad that put them in all the sports, and the clubs, and the plays at school. They both got straight A's and went to college and came out professionals. Both ate the same thing for breakfast every morning while they were being raised. One ends up gay and the other is straight. With your reasoning, this would never happen, but it does. So..... why does it?

I think you're trying to disagree with him but what you've written actually supports his argument, that people can be very different (even biological twins) and yet their sexuality is a free parameter.
