    any experts out there?

I am 42. I've noticed that when I go for long periods of time without exercising, I begin to get dull aches in my knees. Nothing serious, just irritating.

When I get back to the gym and start exercising again (some Nautilus & a little free weights) the aches go away eventually & stay away. Hiking in the mountains helps too.

So what is actually happening in my knees that lack of exercise can lead to aches and exercising regularly makes them go away? Are my joints addicted to weight training?

So without going into an insane amount of detail... When you workout, all the little supporting muscles that one never thinks about, get worked out. If your training with proper posture, your workouts will strengthen the "core" muscles of your body, thus making the whole unit stronger. If you don't water a plant, the stem eventually collapses. Make sense? If not... I can go on for hours... You found the expert!

She doesn't need a roommate, she is looking for a place to stay. I think if there is no personal gain involved it is not considered advertising.

Talk to your current landlord, they may let you stay the extra time, converting to a short term monthly lease...I'm a slumlord and do it all the time.

So fortunately my landlord is a bit of a dirty old man, and he's at least letting me stay until the 16th. Which makes things a little easier. So since your a landlord, how soon do places usually let you start moving stuff in If your lease begins on the 1st?

Go find yourself a military pilot. They have these nifty things called "Go, No Go" pills. Take one and you are out and when you need to wake up just take a go pill. Although, side effects can result. I seen a guy the other night sleep walking on them with his shirt off and rubbing his nipples. And these are the people defending our country.

I'm trying to decide if this is good advice or just a plot to get me to sleep walk with my shirt off... Hmmmm
