Icarus canopies

I have an 'old' Icarus canopy. I beleive the D.O.M. is 1992 that I bought used a while ago but was never told the model. I emailed Icarus on this and was told its 'probably' an Icarus Alpha or Beta - Alpha being elliptical and Beta being square.

Anyone have anymore info on these two canopies just out of general interest?
