Key West, The Keys???

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

Thanks for the help with my Savannah question; Walterboro is a good group of people, and a good place to jump.

Next location I need info about is Key West???

I remember there used to be a DZ about 9 miles East of the city, but DZ.com nor USPA has anything currently there.

Is it still there? Is it still D Lic required?

Will there ever be a Keys Boogie again?

If not in the Keys, what is the closest option?

Thanks for the help.

Best,
Dru

Here is a link I found with a Google search. I seem to recall they don't allow fun-jumpers, only tandems, but you can inquire through the link I provided.

The D.Z. in the Keys is still there and they are operational (Sugarloaf), they are a C-182 operation and they do mostly tandems and require a D-license (i think).
If you are in the South Florida area between the dates of Jan. 22-26 come to the Everglades Boogie, at Skydive Air Adventures www.skydivefl.com
