Balloon Skydive Records set in the NetherlandsPosted Wednesday, May 21, 2003 By Bob Draijer There is a new Biggest Simultaneous Balloon Skydive(20) and record most to jump from a balloon(30). Twenty members of the A3 Ballon/Paraclub Flevo team simultaneously, jumped from the largest passenger hot air balloon of the world. At an altitude of 6,500 ft over Harfsen, Netherlands, on May 10, 2003. Breaking the British record set may 2002.
The skydivers leapt from the balloon, a giant Cameron A-530 balloon, the largest passenger balloon in the World – 10 minutes later 10 more skydivers leapt from the same balloon breaking there own record most to jump from a balloon setting this record to 30 skydivers.
On take off the record balloon was attached to 3 balloons with members of the press, giving the best sight from there "Skybox" Prior to the jump, the balloons where released, giving the record balloon space to let go the skydivers.
