Description:

It's an opportunity to experience the sensation of free-fall. Imagine a 14-foot cylindrical diameter vertical tube that is 45 feet tall in which the airstream is passing at a speed of 175 km per hour. Once inside the wind tunnel, you will have a real sense of what skydivers experience during the free-fall portion of their jump, which is generally done from 13 500 to 3 500 feet of altitude at a speed of 200 km per hour. All of that in an environment that is so secure that it is even accessible to children aged of 4 years and older.

Skyventure Montreal is another great 14' tunnel in Montreal (Putin anyone?) with some excellent instructors. The tunnel itself is close to food and accommodation although, it's a little way form the airport. I found the instructors to be very good and the facilities for reviewing footage to be also very good quality. The instructors were a little wary of random people showing up in terms of skill level but otherwise, really nice peeps. This tunnel is the same design as iFly Seattle and there'll probably be fights for years over which tunnel is faster but either way, you can't go wrong with these tunnel when you want to start working in movement in a 14' or if you're a local. Going through town for GoBig and hitting the tunnel was also really nice but from some places in the US (yeah, I know people live elsewhere in the world), it can be difficult. For peeps in the NE, this is another option with a fancy feel to SVNH and Paraclete.

Good place, good people, good times
Pros: Easily accessed from highway, experienced staff, events!
Cons: none, costs less then skydiving and more fly time.

It is well located in the middle of a shopping district, with great restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking of parking around the complex and easily accessed through public transit.
The staff is friendly and provide great coaching, with the possibility of training with Canadian skydiving Team Evolution.
Skyventure is also used by local dropzones for part of their skydiving certification courses
Great place to stay "active" during the winter season
