Description:
During your flight to altitude you will enjoy the aerial sights around the Verde Valley. Your instructor will point out the ancient Indian ruins and the historic mining town of Jerome. Now you are over the red rocks of Sedona where you will see the famous Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Rock, Bell Rock, and many others. Your instructor will also direct your attention to the San Francisco Peaks above Flagstaff, Sycamore Canyon and the Verde River Canyon. Some days it is possible to even see the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
