Kuusiku airfield hasn't got any pavement (only grass) and it's surrounded by fields, so when it comes to landing, it's super nice for a student because there is no need to stress about "hitting the right spot". Plus, there's very little air traffic besides the jump-plane and neighboring club's AN-2. Jump-plane Brita can take up 10 people at a time and on busy weekends it can squeeze in 10+ loads.

Clubhouse has two bedrooms with 20 bunks, a kitchen, sauna, showers and a living room with sofas (comes handy in the evenings when watching videos), so during week-long Parasummer there's no need to leave the airfield. Packing is done in a big tent.

The people are really laid-back, taking children and dogs along, so it's fun even when you're not jumping. Parasummer (boogie in July) is the best time to visit Kuusiku airfield, because that's the time when people stay at the dropzone for more than a week. Other than that, jumping starts Friday evening and goes on until Sunday evening.

Good vibes. Definitely good vibes.

Great people, interesting to see skydiving mixed with Baltic culture if you hang out with these jumpers for a day or two. Very professional and friendly. If you travel the Baltics and are a skydiver, take along your rig and do a jump or two with these folks in the summer.
