  1. Does anyone know if there is a DZ near Niagara Falls in Canada or NY? I'm going on a road trip and would rather do some jumps in Canada but hey, anywhere near Buffalo, NY would be great. Forever Extreme

    Back in the sky!

Hey everyone out there that was born to be in the sky. I got into this sport back in Feb. of this year and had a double malfunction on my 6th jump. I was really lucky! I collapsed my left lung and chipped a tooth -- that's it! In and out of the hospital in 6 days and a couple of months of recovery and I'm doing much better. I got back up in the sky this past Sunday (3 months to the day from my accident) and had the smoothest opening and awesome landing. I wanted to thank everyone who has supported me through all of this over the past few months. I got an email this morning from someone I've never met before praising me for getting back up in the sky -- damn, that was just about the most coolest and sincere email I think I have ever received. I have a whole new family now and just want to thank you all for being part of it. I jump with a great group of people and wouldn't trade it for the world. For any of you that may have had a jump go wrong and are debating whether to stay in the sport or not, take my advise, its all in your hands, you have control. If you never do it again, -- cool, I respect that, if you get back up there, -- cool, I respect that. The only thing that matters is -- what makes YOU happy. I'm not going to lie to you, I thought I was going to just vomit everywhere when I got back out to my dropzone (SEMO - Charleston, MO), I was so scared. With a little encouragement -- and a lot of friendly advise, I looked my second jumpmaster in the face and said "Get me up there, I'm ready to do a skydive"! I couldn't have asked for a better day or a better group of skydivers, they really are family to me. Anyways, I'm going to stop rammbling now and get back to some work.
