Speaking of the German-soviet war, we are currently on the period of the 70th anniversary of the battle of Stalingrad. Aug 1942-Feb 1943. 70 years ago, Manstein's rescue mission failed a week ago and supplies were unable to connect with the forward movements of the German 6th army. The 6th army was subsequently sacrificed in order to save the army group in the Caucusus oil field. The Russian turned what could have been their biggest defeat into a historic victory. Cheers ! Shc

The idea that the U.S was one day away from bankruptcy due to a self-inflicted wound is far scarier. A U.S bankruptcy trigger could theoretically cause hyperinflation depending on HOW the bylaws and the contracts were written. Going over fiscal cliff is nothing compared to the previous debt ceiling debacle. Cheers!
