My husband, 3 friends and I decided to go skydiving when we saw an offer on Groupon.com. My husband decided to do an AFF jump and the rest of us did tandem. It was a hot day in July and there were a few fans in the facility, but no AC other than in a small airport building disconnected from the hanger. We thought we would be on the manifest an hour or two after my husband's class got out at 12:30, but we didn't get to jump until 7pm! Mind you we were all there at 8am for the start of his class, so it took our group of 5 nearly 12 hours from start to finish. We brought lunch and snacks to hold us over thinking we'd be done before dinner. While there are drink machines at the facility, there was no food available so we had to go out for a quick dinner and get back in time to get ready to jump. Also, we didn't even get to jump from the same plane. My husband and I got to jump together and the other three went in the plane before us. Since a few of us were getting pictures and video, they didn't have room for all of us at the same time. Oh, and check your video at the facility before you leave. They forgot to actually burn mine to the disc before they handed it to me, but took care of it right away when I told them about it. I understand that there were a few technical issues and timing problems that day along with a short stint of rain. Once all was said and done, it was a great experience actually skydiving and I will definitely do it again someday and most likely with Start Skydiving. However, we will probably all just do tandem so we don't get stuck waiting for 12 hours.
