I'm just curious how is it compared to a PD Optimum? It seems like fair comp.

My friend placed a preorder for C6 more than a year ago.... So 2 month is reasonable if you ever get it

gozzaI have come across this issue more than once which rang alarm bells!! I noticed that some people put their wingsuits on and dont realise their reserve handle has slipped into the suit. Some checks before manifesting yourself for a load.
1. Make sure your wingsuit is a correct fit and both handles are accessible before jumping it.
2. D shaped reserve handles have been the most concern due to the size and slippery surface of the handle, so try on the suit and make sure it will NOT slip in.
3. If you are unsure about your gear dont jump it.
4. Always get a gear check.
5. Have a system of checks before walking to the plane, mid flight checks and before exits checks.
All in all people have fun and blue skies :-)
Peace :-)
I'm getting my pop corn ready for this thread -

flipwithit***Sorry dude, I mistook you for someone else. My bad.
Anyway, I'm not saying that Matt and Tony were in charge of invites, I am saying that it's not a pure cross section of the best pilots.
squirrel had inquired, received, fixed and returned my aura in the amount of time that i usually receive a return email from PF. they need to step up their customer service and i believe they will.
That is the reason I canceled my Havok Carve and ordered a Funk. I just want to get my toys asap when I have money ready for it. Wingsuits arent custom made Ferrari's, Lambo's and GTR's - we shouldn't wait weeks for an email and months for a suit... -
JohnMitchell***You can download the full press kit from their website.
They are rather nebulous about which 'electrolyte solutions' are used. One is probably salt water, the other is ????
I've got enough chemistry background to opine that there's no potential energy in salt water that can drive a car 240 mph. I smell something fishy.
I got no degree and I call it B.S. -
B52Watch the stuff some of the european acro ws pilots do.
Give it some time, Europeans been doing acro in Shadow and Havok for a few years now, do you really expect them just ditch their suits to fly Funk that is like 2-3 month old? They spent a lot of time learning to fly their suits. Anyway- I don't know any Skydiving gear manufacturing company that is only couple years old and can eat away a lot of market....

Vortex is TSO'ed, price is almost the same. And it's 6 weeks to delivery against 15 weeks for SWS.
You just answered your own question.... I know someone who put 1K+ jumps on Vortex - no problems. If TSO and delivery time is so important - save few more Rubles and order Infinity :) -
Hellis***If you jump in Russia - why don't you buy SWS?
SWS is in Ukraine, not Russia.
yeah, forgot that they are in a state of war :( -

B52Talk to an experienced acro coach so you know how to properly use them. In addition good luck just dropping them during a stressful malfunction ;)
Well, then talk to experienced packer how to avoid "stressful malfunction" :) -
I don't know why peeps complaining about thumb loops and RAD... It's so easy to drop loops after pitch, but i think it's just a matter of what we used to... My first suit was GTI paired with 230 Spectre - so I'm used to loops. My first pull on Funk was not so beautiful with some nasty linetwist, it takes less then a second to drop thumb loops and then grab risers. I'm surprised that some WS pilots with way more experience than me bitching about loops and RAD .
P.S. get a canopy that snivel longer and you will have enough time to do your housekeeping before slider goes down -
I had to sent my Infinity for an adjustment due to laterals being too short. We screwed up measurements in the first place and it was little to short (pulling MLW to the back). Got my rig back and it's better right now. -
Don't jump without an AAD - I witnessed someone "landing" his reserve blacked out after being knocked out on the tracking dive.. thanks to AAD he lived... anyway if Germans had to get involved - there may be an issue with your unit, and you should be happy that it's getting addressed. I have Vigil2, but Cypress will be my next AAD for that reason - it's getting checked every 4 years! -
degenerationNot a jumpsuit, but I've also got a canopy from them - an Odyssey. For me it is the best full elliptical canopy I've jumped. It's like an xfire2, but just that little bit better.
If the quality of their jumpsuits are anything like their canopies, then you won't go wrong.
OD-150 is on my list, but I don't have numbers yet and they do not make 170, so loading it 1.9 may be not a good idea... I still eat dirt in no wind on my SK-190 :) -
theplummeter***we bought 3 RW suits from them 3 years ago - really happy with a build quality. I recently got a canopy from them - I'm very satisfied
Which canopy did you get? I jumped with an Israeli gentleman in Eloy who had one of their suits. It was really impressive, especially the price!

Unfortunately these kids do not have many choices - Honduras, South Africa or Vietnam. If they will be prohibited sewing mains, reserves or wingsuits - most likely they will ended up in the sex market... What about Foxconn Technology Group? Lets talk about an Iphone? Is it ethical to have one? One company copied from another? Well that makes most H/C manufacturers, but Sunpath and UPT copycats? By the way - do you have a proof that some "wingsuit manufacturer" employs children? I don't see a problem if company treat their underage employees fair. What about major canopy manufacturer that makes most of their products somewhere in Central America? Do you have a first hand info of who works there? -
That is exact reason "why". I like my wingsuit crafted by a Vietnamese 10 y.o. virgins

Type 8 risers may help, but not if you still want to stow your slider behind your back. -
Rebecca-BerlinI am selling my reserve and got this offer:
Reserve Speed-170, 2003, for 350 Euros (476 dollars)
Should I ask for more? The canopy has never been used.
Thanks!
You may get a few more bucks from a US jumper since any Master Rigger can re-certify reserve, but as far as I know in EU this reserve is good only for 4 more years? -
hjumper33Go fuck yourself scotty. In other news, funk will be here TOMORROW!!!!!
That is the attitude that is not helping to end all these silly brand wars... BTW he jumps Squirrel as far as I know :)
