I love this helmet! It's extremely comfortable, both the padding inside and the dreamy cushioned chinstrap (which I find to be uncomfortable on many helmets, skydiving and otherwise). It blocks out the engine noise but still leaves the capability of hearing people in the plane. I'm glad I bought it at my gear shop instead of online because I have a pretty small head and I bought the large. I've tried on a large in a Cookie full face and my head was swimming in it, so this seems to be a one-off in sizing. The color also started getting cloudy within the first few months of purchasing, but that wasn't a big deal to me.
  2. Maybe you should make a video of nothing but wipeouts :)
  3. Thanks for posting! It really is encouraging to see your progression. And kudos for being a good sport and posting the exit at 2:10 :)
  4. Physiologically, doesn't a positive G force the blood flow to your feet while a negative G forces the blood flow to your brain due to the direction of the gravitational pull? I believe G's in skydiving is usually only referenced under canopy. Positive G's are the cool roller coaster feeling you get spiraling under canopy. However, I've heard of folks achieving negative G's under a malfunctioning canopy, but can't quite wrap my brain around how that could happen. Anyone know?
