  1. The game changed when the government MANDATED that employers provide health coverage. It is no longer a benefit. Yep. And HL apparently pays for 16 out of 20 BC options. Plenty of choices for someone that's actually *gasp* responsible. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  2. Technically, all you have is personal experience and your own eyewitness testimony :) You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  3. Can we move this to Bonfire? It saddens me to think such an awesome thing would be soiled by being in here :) You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

  5. Shellfish have been legal since the NT. Thanks for playing. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  6. And can you imagine the death toll if the suspect had a gun? Imagine the no injuries if there was a "No stabbing zone" sign posted. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  7. You're a suspected terrorist in the US if you have 7 days of food in your house (or know someone that does). You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  8. I'm calling total BS on that one. Just over two weeks after the hands down, worst website launch ever, and someone sails through the entire process with a 10 minute phone call? Not only that, but manages to find the one person (presumably) that knows all the answers, understands the process far better than the other thousands and thousands out there, etc. etc. Oh and did they pay? Did they actually get an insurance plan (not likely, especially with all the confusion, mixups, and dropped plans after launch). Sorry, but since that supposed "OMG Obamacare saved us!" there are plenty of horror stories, reports, research, articles and so on showing this is a disaster that's not even close to being up to full steam. Hell, even the AMA (who just drooled over Obamacare) said recently its going to stiff doctors big time. Why? Because apparently you don't actually have to pay for a premium to be insured. There's a grace period. So hey, go without insurance. Sign up when you need it. Don't pay and get covered while your under grace (then rinse and repeat once you're dropped). /shrug. Those who have die-hard beliefs that the OT shows a 6k year-old Earth really need to brush up on their Hebrew (or talk to someone that has). You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  10. Is there a zero-tolerance rule for monkey face at the school? That would be equally as dumb. I don't really recall anyone being suspended at my school for a monkey face either. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say apples and oranges. But to be fair, the kid has 5 fingers, which qualifies each hand as a high-capacity, assault hand. 11. I just wonder when someone's going to get shot over it. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  12. Outlawing murder, rape, robbery, etc. doesn't stop those from happening either. Guess we should just make everything legal. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  13. Really? Who else has been pushing against scientific-based education? Might wanna look into a guy named Johannes Kepler. Pretty smart guy. Kinda religious too (very). Came up with the whole laws of planetary motion. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  14. So should I maybe just not bother till I grab suit #2? You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  15. I'm flying an R-bird w/ inlets, currently, and I've got about 17-18 jumps working on my backfly (69 WS altogether). I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've got no outside video atm to show (which I'm going to try and correct as soon as I can, I usually jump at a small 182 DZ with not many frequent WSers). My first attempts usually sent me into a head-down dive, which I finally stopped doing when I stopped arching with my head back (carry over to get back to belly I guess). Around attempts 10-12 or so, I actually rolled into a fairly stable backfly. I took one attempt from about 12k down to 7k before rolling back over. Now, however, I can't seem to get back to it and I feel like I'm regressing. My tail keeps popping up (hinging at the waist) and it seems that whenever I try to push it back down, it sends me into a dive even without my head slightly up. Rolling with the tail closed and only half opening sort of helps, but only to a degree. I'm trying to figure out what I might be missing? Arms maybe not extended enough? Down too low? Too high? Chest / pelvis issues? I realize its probably hard to diagnose over text and no video (or even pictures) but thought throw it out here to see if I could get some help before I find an outside camera. Thanks! You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  16. It didn't, at least not for the last 20 years. In fact, it's gone down, steadily, for a long time, and is now at a 30-year low. The impression that you have is fed to you by the media, and is a lie. Correct. And blacks commit 50% of murders while comprising only 13% of population. If you removed black crime from America's crime statistics, we'd be sitting pretty. But we can't talk about that, because that would be racist... If you dig deeper into the stats, once you adjust for socioeconomic status and family background (i.e. broken homes), race lines disappear. 17. And they're both right. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  18. Govt should just control everything. Only a fool would think that there's no scheming in any other private, for-profit (and even non-profit) sector. Quality might suck, and prices might go up due to a bloated, red-tape filled system (and tons of extra "employees") but at least with the govt, you don't have to worry about fraud, abuse, or general corruption. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  19. A good video on the general CCW concerns of 9mm vs .40 vs .45 (or rather, how silly it all is) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tku8YI68-JA You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  20. Of course they do a shitty job. Look at Amtrak. Look at the Post Office. Look at your "investment" with SS. Gov't can't compete at all for giving a better product at a lower price. It's bloated and corrupt. Anyone who thinks Obamacare will actually provide better insurance for less is delusional. You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  21. Yep, I think the serving of alcohol adds a stipulation to the theater in question. Alcohol doesn't matter in the case of the movie theater. It has to be a place that's primary purpose is the selling and consuming of alcohol on the premise (e.g. a bar). You can carry in a movie theater legally (and they can ask you to leave) and you can carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol (but stay away from the bar). 22. The biggest problem that most miss with #1 isn't whether or not it is a theologically accurate statement, but rather its a phrase that tells the other person, "I don't want to hear about your pain / loss / suffering. Please be quiet, because if you aren't, you're going to make me uncomfortable (and I might start questioning things)". You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  23. That would be a nice, logical thing to believe in except for the unfortunate truth that the consensus hasn't produced any viable theories and predictions. If your "science" can't make predictions, it's junk. And since all the predictions have fallen flat on their asses and then some...well, you get the idea :) You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.
  24. What large amounts? The increase is like adding a drop of food coloring to an olympic-sized swimming pool and then declaring the whole thing is about to turn bright red. going from 320ppm to ~400 in 50 years represents a 25% increase, which on a planetary scale does represent a "large amount" of gas. When dinos roamed, the gas was at levels that were 18 times or so than they are now and life was just fine. On a planetary scale, these fluctuations are nothing.
