Don't really care who he is,
my main concern, does anyone thing that is suitable separation by the AFF instructor, I only have 200 AFF/I jumps and maybe its the 360 camera, but it really looks like just watch opening and pull kind of scenario, which is not so cool.......... Open to be corrected .For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. -
Thought I could add my opinion for what its worth, I have roughly 600 jumps on crossfire 2 129, 50 on a crossfire 119, tried the xfire 113 (new standard size) have to say I was blown away, openings are slightly faster than my cf2 but just a soft and never more than 90 degree off heading, perfect for tandem camera.
So far after 15 jumps I have to say I am sold, going to get myself one. I would add that I do feel its a big step up from a crossfire 2(My loading is 1.8ish)

SFBayArea***> Do you keep it in the helmet all the time and just let it turn off screen (after 14 hrs)?
Yes.
What is the battery life expectancy if it is always turned on? Also, I assume once you board the plane and start ascending the altimeter wakes up and gives you a ring at 1k feet?
I got roughly a year and a half out of mine so far without turning it off!For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. -

Is it possible the cypres on front was purely promotional as it seems to be turned off?For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. -
Since your profile says you are a uk student you will have to do a low and high spot for your JM1 and B cert.
You will get a brief from your instructors when you get to that stage.

AFF Level 1 with one instructor?
in Instructors
Here at Skydive Spain we also make the student complete and "AFF" tandem which is made only with a multi rated instructor (AFF & TI), and I have to say I believe it makes a big difference as they do the complete L1 sequence from Hotel Checks until opening the tandem. although the biggest advantage I see is from the canopy piloting aspect.
I can´t provide statistics but for sure we have better success on L1-L3, although these are still two instructor levels.
