  1. Your determination is awesome! Good luck on your next jump!
  2. I flip and tumbled out on AFF1. Lost one instructor, I arched straight away and got stable. So no worries! It happens. I did a 10 minute slot in the wind tunnel after my first jump. Really teaches a lot on how to fly. Gives you more confidence too! Give it a try, well worth the money. Each jump gets easier and easier, which = more fun! Good luck to you!
  3. I wanted to keep the suit simple for solos. I heard the booties are aggressive when flying (from a guy that just started jumping with them). I could tuck them in I would imagine until I was comfortable to give them a try. Thanks for responding.
  4. Thanks for your input! Ill get a suit made closer to my A license. Let others I jump with (coaches) let me know what will suit me best.
  5. I posted this earlier, got deleted by accident. My phone is my only means of internet, touch sceen buttons suck. Anyway, i was going to buy a new suit, this one http://www.chutingstar.com/newgear_en/vertical-suits-rw-suit.html I was going to get it without grippers or booties. I want it to do and work on belly flying for the first 100 or so jumps. Then get into jumping with people. Can grippers be added and booties later on? Or will I need another suit made for those? Any other recommendations on other jumpsuit companies for just belly flying?
  6. Im now working on my A. I was looking at the Vertical RW suit as a first jumpsuit. Without grippers or booties (I can add them later if I want). The student suits are too baggy for my slow fall rate. Im 6'1", 185. My instructors say im going to need a slim fit suit to stay with others in freefall. I've got my helmet, googles, analog and digital altimeters, so the jumpsuit is next on my list. Any pros/cons to buying a new first jumpsuit? Or any other recommendations on other jumpsuits companies? I've looked at a bunch, don't know how different companies compare.
  7. Handshakes? We all suck each others thumbs on the way to altitude while humming our favorite songs. It calms me.
  8. As long as I don't seem like a fun target im all for the range Yes, Skydance is a nice place with a welcoming crowd!
  9. Hi people! I recently completed my AFF. I must say flying in the sky has really captured my heart and soul. The world seems like now a more beautiful place than it already was to me. This (skydiving) is living and loving life! Thanks to my instructors and future teachers at Skydance in Davis, CA!
