I would love to know any where in the south east to learn to do it. I am in SC and have all ways wanted to do it.

take $150, (15min) of fly time, with in 5 mins you will have total control. The inst. will watch and tell you your errors and how to fix them. When lift tickets went up, i started bodyflying, minus the pc ride down, it is a good fix.

I do it everytime i decide to go jump. I over think "what i am doing" and why risk my life for a little fun. But once i get to the dz, i only focus on that day. I have made many trips to the dz, only to hang out an watch because of a uneasy feeling. Just 2weeks ago i backed out, and took my kids body flying. My advice, spend some time at the dz, understand your grear, ask ?, and build trust, after all your life is in their hands

I tend to over analyze everything before and after i jump. Pior to last jump of the day, i over heard a couple of people talking about their reserve rides. One of them made a comment that got me wondering, has anyone have or heard of a leg strap tearing or any part of the harness tear upon opening? I ve read where people have fell out due to their error, but can t recall seeing someone having it torn.

The burden of proof is on those who make outlandish claims, like an invisible supernatural omnipotent omniscient being that no-one has ever seen, controlling the universe. Has anyone ever seen gravity, so if you can t see it, then stop believing in it, jump without a rig. Since you can t see it and don t believe it exist, you should be ok. Faith is believing in something unseen Gravity is testable, measurable, consistent, reproducible. On the other hand, you can't produce a single piece of evidence that your god exists at all. Proof: the human body, earth, the univers, how can anyone believe there was no Creator, miracles, power of Prayer, prophecy in the Bible, thats evidence. For 20 y i was on the other side saying the same thing, but God took me to a place that I realized I was wrong and Hell is real, eternity is a long time. Don t make your decisions based on what you see on TV or out in the world. Search yourself and ask God to come into your life. I am amazed how (non-believers) try to go out of their way to disprove something they don t believe in. Contradictions? can any body show me some? I am a Christian and read my Bible. When I read something i don t understand, i read again, still don t understand, I merely say "God your smarter than me and thats what makes you God". Alot of scriptures echos previous scriptures that may sound confussing but are not. We think of man writing the Bible, God wrote the Bible thru Men. I came a believer in my 20's, and found that Christ is real. To believe that this life (a short life) is it, that earth and people are accidents. I see Gods handy work every time I jump, look around next time. Ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as your Savior. You tried it your way, now try it His way.

I will be living in upstate SC for the next 6 months and have found 2 DZ within 1 hr drive. Flying tigers and Carolina Skydive. Anyone have any recomd. I still rent gear and my wife is wanting to take a jump course. Flying tigers looks small and hasn't return emails, Carolina has a nice looking Otter and sent me some helpful info. Any advice from locals would be helpful, i mainly want my wife to get a good jump course with lots of knowledge and safety.

My buddy was told end of march

My neighbor has been watching me skydive and tunnel fly for a couple of years and has decided to build a wind tunnel in his back yard. He plans to use a motor and blade from a wind boat (like what you see in swamps). Although he is an engineer, i feel it is a waste of time, money, and will turn our neighborhood into redneck rivera. Any thoughts on if it will work or why it won t so i can prove to him to stop. PS i hope it works and so do my kids

I m new to the sport and still have alot of ?. I've notice several messages with people having their first cutaway under 30 jumps. Several of the instr. at the DZ have 400-800 jumps, some with no cutaways. Going to reseve is my biggest fear. I've already exp. line twist and an end cell not inflating all the way, (didn t seem big deal). I guess my ? is if I take my time and pack properly, shouldn t this eliminate bad openings as well as stabile body postion. Is there a conection between these cutaways and rental gear. Any advice to help calm beginner nerves would be helpful.
