  1. Can I be the not funny guy ? Doing CRW with old canopy is more than fine, and must be lots of fun.. If can land it of course. But this is not the point of my post. Please please, when doing CRW, please remove the trailing pilot chute ! Especially doing short stack ! It's amazing it didn't already messed up your formation. I know too much people who went down with pilot chute stuck in the wrong line set. This said, have fun !
  2. The place has been confirmed. You can find all details on fai website : http://www.fai.org/ipc-events/ipc-events-calendar-and-results?id=34877&EventCalendarId=8891
  3. sorry if there is a double post, I quickly search on the forum if it was already posted... maybe too quickly ;) anyway it's always fun to watch :p

  5. in France it's also 1000 jumps for tandem and 800 for AFF. And the FFP has also set the minimum age of 15 for beginning skydiving, for both tandem and AFF.
  6. Thanks for all your advice (even the most... hmmm... funniest one ;) We have come to the decision to leave him in France, for all reasons you said and others more personal :) Idea to share the trip with another family is really interesting, maybe we'll think of it for another year, when he'll be grown up a little more. Blue sky every one
  7. Do you mean stressed to be in Eloy or stressed to be on a dropzone. Back in France He is quite used to spent time with us on dropzones, I'm an AFF instructor in France, and we are often a whole week on the dropzone, staying in a caravan. But of course, in France he knows everybody, and everybody know him, which won't be the same at Eloy (and of course he doesn't speak english ;)
  8. Hi all, First, please note that I'm not very sure that I'm in the right place for this post, I was hesitating between here and "Events & Places to jump", as my thread is partially related to skydive. But let's go anyway. My girlfriend and I are planning to spent a couple a week in Eloy, we're both jumping and we both want to do skydive and tunnel (not necessarily always at same time). And we're considering taking her 4 years old child with us or leaving him to his father. Does someone knows if there is something like child care in Eloy ? I already went there before but only for training purpose with my team mates, never in family. And I don't really remember having seen any child in the dropzone. I'm open to anybody thoughts and advice. Just to precise, we're coming to Eloy from France. Thanks Guzman
