Damn, that's expensive! Our dropzone's IAD First Jump Course is only $185 U.S., including the jump. Continuing jumps are just $65. Maybe you should come over here, make 23 jumps and go home with an A license.

I'm from Finland and there's some kind of (free) "recap" thing for all students before they start a new season. My course cost 450€ so I'm not too excited to pay that kind of money again to get going, so maybe I should wait for the early summer or so when the dropzone opens here and do some jumps before thinking about going to states.

I had a static line course a year ago (last course of the year, a month before the season ended) and I was only able to jump two times before the winter because either the weather was bad or the only plane (cessna 182) was on the maintenance. For few reasons I was unable to really start the sport this year and would have been able to jump only few jumps here and there, so I decided to not jump at all and wait for next year to get really going. So I was thinking about going to USA (I'm European) to jump for a month or two before the next summer to get some jumps under my belt. Is it possible to continue the static line jumps there or would I need to go through another full course?

Looks like to me a dump truck did it. If you believe in god then god did it or at least the killing had gods blessing, because god is almighty and can make or prevent anything to happen.

I'm surprised that GoPro for example hasn't came up with a helmet that have the camera integrated in it. Shouldn't be that hard to do since the needed electornics are so tiny. One in front and one on the back. Zero sutff sticking out.
