  7. in case of high wingloading or radical move (hookturn), is there any risk of a dynamic stall ?? ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
  8. it seems to me if you manage to build up a good speed progressively, it can be very efficient and less dangerous as a radical hook turn. ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
  9. and i'm not sure the Kanji sign is on it... which is a really cool design... ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

  11. maybe the best advice. If he got it he'll jump it. So you're doing the best thing possible, trying to bring him alive back on earth. ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
  12. and such a difference in wingloading and performance... oh yeah, he has a jump or 2 on a Xfire2 169. That's an intermediate step ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
  13. it's not me... i'm jumping a saphire2 139 loaded at approx 1.2. Would love a higher wingloading and a faster canopy. BUT... I want to do all this for a long time. Already had a close call. Don't want a second one. ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

  18. maybe storage, surface on which you pack etc, exposure to the sun, but altitude of the DZ should not have influence. Maybe also a different fabric, or colour, this COULD have an influence. That's my guess. ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
  19. Hi Igor, what I mean is that a small canopy, specially a nice and fast one, can bring you to big trouble, specially if you have to land in unknown terrain, if winds are tricky etc... Always take the worse case into consideration. ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
  20. on my Talon, the ring broke a rib, and flying with my wingsuit I have to tighten up my chest strap real tight. ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

  22. he must be very lightweight (I think actually the biggest Katana is 120). Perosnnally I wouldn't recommend it, and at our DZ he might not be be authorised to jump it.It's like letting someone who just finished his driving lessons go on the street with a Ferrari or something. If he was my friend I would certainly tell him not to. ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
  23. nice paraglider you have, Vleisie ------- I started by a tandem may15 2002, was a present for my 30th bday. wanted to freefall since I was a kid and started too late.
