  2. would not start jumping in the first place... it sucks your time, it sucks your money, you get something back - but most of all you can get addicted and you're fucked up for your entire life...
  3. well, boy there are many countries in the world where national flag is not really appriciated. I see no reason to believe that UK is any different from any other of those countries... by throwing bombs and spreading heater all around the world it is not possible to keep a peace and harmony on own soil... the facts are hard, so it is a sourth park...

maybe it's really time for you to grow up and stand up for yourself?
  5. stay away from Wal-Mart. It's all mine!
  6. I found it by accident while searching on more info about latest incident on DeLand. This one is old, and it was not previously reported in incidents so I thought maybe it's worth a bonfire topic. Feel free to put/cut/paste/move whereever you want.

  8. the most appealing practical consequence might be a possibility of time travel
  9. Pops, in the case the speed difference is declared "comparable to zero" means that any deviation (difference from zero) can be clarified as measurement error and thus practically "equal to zero". The first attempts to diminish the results of first experiement were focused on that - "clock differences" between departure and arrival point. This repeated experiment tried to prevent that possiblity and obviosly they succeeded. But we'll see. There's a long way to go and experiement must be repeated in some other environment by some other ppl to be proven.
  10. imho this story is not about neutrino and even less about physics. It is about an image of "great mind" named Albert Einstein and "honorable prize" named Nobel Prize :D Those two myths will be busted if neutrino is prooved to be traveled faster than light and we'll get a lot of political discussons :) It's interesting that a lot of so called scientists questioned the results of CERN experiment even before the official results were published. p.s. oops CERN did it again :)
  11. If you keep doing it with only one hand you make even more chance for nobel price
  12. Popping your knuckles or clicking your fingers is not as bad as you may think. The usual argument is that it causes arthritis but research shows this not to be the case. Like anything when done to excess, other types of damage may occur with such things as stretching of the surrounding ligaments and a decrease in grip strength. The sound is produced in the joint when bubbles burst in the Synovial fluid surrounding the joint. The gas itself is always there but dissolved in the thick clear Synovial fluid. When you pull the joint you decrease the pressure therefore reduce the amount of gas the liquid can hold. This is called cavitation and is the same thing as what causes the bends or bubbles to appear from nowhere when you open a bottle of pop; a decrease in pressure reduces the amount of gas the liquid can hold. After a pop the gas should take half an hour to re-dissolve again so, until this happens, you will not be able to repeat the noise in that joint no matter how hard you try!
  13. camera or anything else except standard gear mounted on your body imposes a serious snag hazard. Don't forget you're in the skydiving game. In this game even that misarable piece of s. mounted on your helmet may kill you. Not to mention very low flying abilities of the newbies which also increses the snag hazard due to possible unstable positions. A distraction factor adds even more risk on the top of it. a bit off topic but... In some countries you may not jump any kind of camera untill you reach 200 formation jumps. imho in the USA the skydiving safety rules are a bit loosey to provide more opportunities for skydiving business but it does not mean you should not take care responsability for your own safety and safety of your friends.
  14. thank you for being so brave to stand up here :) Please, read the last incident from few months ago about a girl with the around the same number of jumps as you, jumping with a camera, filming a tandem. She ended up pulling low which resulted in an off dz landing... and unfortunately fatal ending. Leave that camera until you reach 200 formation jumps - do it for your own safety and for the safety of your fellow jumpers... lol @ Twardo's: pussy fixation
  15. sound in the video is as awful as the colors of his suit but not even close to awfullness of his flying abilities and safety awareness. you get this when you start thinking with your dick instead of using your brains.
  16. during the exit(climb out) premature canopy opening which means that the canopy is opened on the door. what would you do in the case you are the guy with the opened canopy? what would you do if you stand next to him?
  17. to remove wife or to remove the lubricant?
  18. some additional info about this incident... The pilot was one of the most experienced in LOT with 30 years of flying experience and over 15.000 flight hours. The plane was 14 years old and this is the first time the some malfunction happend to it. At the moment they arrived above Poland the plane had about 7 tons of fuel and has been flying over 1 hour above the airport untill some 1,5 tons left. Meanwhile the emergency services on the ground pour large amounts of fire-preventing liquids on the runway.
  19. this kind of videos show the difference between being skilled and being lucky. Great, great crew and ground emergency services...

  22. certain arousal level is definetelly needed, but being too nervous can lead to wrong decisions... try to relax during the flight (about 2000ft prior exit level) - close your eyes, inhale deeply and slowly and exhale in the same way.
  23. That made *zero* sense, dude. It also has *zero* relation to the subject at hand.... what's wrong, can't find that proof about nato? my opinion does not count at all - since nobody ask ppl in western europe whether they want their money to be spent on bombings and killings of other nations... if you have good arguments you don´t need any weapons. Obviosly you don´t (as your NATO bosses) so that´s the last argument you really have - brute force. regarding the evidence... why did those so called ´rebels´ buried the body and didn´t allowed anyone from UN to inspect the body and commit investigation on actual crime scene? Why did NATO sponsors allowed that? Are you aware that France openly dropped weapons to rebels? Are you aware that French and British forces were involved on the ground in Libya? Who do you expect to dare to go there and execute the CSI on the spot?
