Just as said above. the recruiters have to meet a quota or else! Don't trust them. 1. See if there's an enlistment bonus for your chosen rate and ask for the max. The highest I have heard for my rate was 10,000 but you have to enlist for 6 years(get a "C" school). 2. make sure you have a Rate. (you will go to "A" school for basic Rate knowledge) or you are deck seaman fodder and you may need to extend your contract to get a rate in the future. 3. You are not in the navy till you sign papers AT THE RTC (boot camp). so if you decide "no" after the lenghty MEPS check ups, you can tell them to eat a dick. 4. make sure your finances are in order before boot camp. 5. you never smoked a joint in your life; and no, they can't prove it!! 6. If you have a degree or if you are in college, screw the recruiter and look for NROTC at your campus. Recruiters do not recruit for officers and you have to spend the first couple(or all of you enlistment) becoming one. 7. alot of people on here are in the Navy. Ask a lot of questions! When you are in the navy: -Positive attitude always get you everywhere. -as with everywhere, the first person who immediately wants to be your friend at a new command is to be avoided. you, the new person, don't know what an ass hat he is and he knows it. good luck and dont sweat the bullshit. I think the questions are biased. . .and I think the FAQ's are biased. The FAQ's only respond to the questions themselves and why those questions. No one ever asks the obvious: can a leftist and a right pick all maybes; and can a centrist pick all yes? I believe they can. There is a lot more issues out there than just those ten. My dad's country home is the "log cabin" style where the logs are pre-made. From what i gather, there is some upkeep maintenance that periodically needs to be done to prevent the logs from cracking. Should it start, there is some wood colored plaster-like substance you have to put in to the cracks to prevent it splitting some more. I think that is the only issue. More than likely a classification to cover some asses. Sometimes though, with classifications, it's not the nature of the letter but what is in it that could point to something classified somewhere else. Say, a job position that is not general knowledge that is pointed out anong with the person's name. Also, the letter could have been classified due to it being part of a batch of letters where one letter has classified info on. There is none. I tend to notice that skydivers tend to spend their weekends exclusively for jumping. that's about it.

I like what you got to say here. Here's a problem with the superficial differences. The surface really has but the color of the skin and general dress pointed out. There's still internal differences that comes from differences. Priorities and ways of thinking come from ethnicity also, and is sometimes so ingrained that it can never leave. You can ignore color and physical differences all you want but comfort in similarity is very strong and takes precedence.
