  1. 1. Get my A. (Will have it within 2 weeks.) 2. Get Water Training 3. Get my B. (Only 15 jumps away) 4. Make 150 jumps 5. Attend the coach rating course in Z-hills. In that order.
  2. Haha. But is there actually a hazard where the weight has to be different?
  3. I love the description on slickdeals, "wave at passing birds." Haha. But seriously do any DZ's actually charge 280-350 for a tandem? And another serious question. How come the disclaimer it says max male weight is 270 and max female weight is 220, does it really make a difference?
  4. I dont even think Deland has a 182. I have never seen one there.
  5. I plan on doing one at 3500. The other DZ near me does them from 3500 so I will do one there as soon as I get back to Florida. And I honestly have no idea why Deland just does them between 4500 and 5000. However, I do understand why some of you do not agree with that system.
  6. I'd be glad to do a hop n' pop at 3500, it would be no problem. And negative on the wet towel in the face, I asked about water training today and it is done in a deep lake filled with some disgusting water, I can't wait for that.
  7. To the above poster, I love the way the Storm flies, I jump a 170, its pretty quick which I like and its got a really nice powerful flare. To the other poster, the A card still states a 3500 hop n' pop. My home DZ does them from 4500-5000 feet for whatever reason. However you won't get it signed off unless you pull in like 3 sec. from leaving the plane.
  8. I would feel comfortable doing one at 3k. I was so surprised how quickly I pulled I didn't think I could get stable that quickly but hop n' pops really showed me how quickly I could get stable. Its funny though, my dz (Deland) doesn't do hop n' pops at 3k only between 4.5 and 5k.
  9. I have already started to learn, my first experience was on a Brand new PD Storm which is made of zero-p, it was damn near impossible.
  10. Yeah, this was the one I had to do for my A card.
  11. Yeah I will. The only thing I have left on my A card is to learn to pack, I have kind of put that off.
  12. 4500 feet. Not really that low but it was the first one. I really enjoyed it.
  13. Finally did my first hop n pop. The whole thought of it kind of scared the shit out of me, but actually doing it wasn't any problem. They are actually a lot more fun then I thought it would be.
  14. Like I said we will talk. This Doctor got what he deserved. Prison time. In the military there is no option to do what we want to do, and not do the things we do not. Whether this guy or the rest of the American wants to accept it or not President Obama is the President and thats not going to change for atleast another two years. So the American public especially the military folks that are doing things like this doctor did need to suck it up and do their job, and if not then they can join this dumb ass in prison.
  15. I'm 22 Started and Finished AFF in September and I can't get enough of this.
  16. Leave it to the University of Maryland to do a study on what most people could have guessed. (Just a joke, I'm from Maryland) Even though I am not the biggest fan of Fox.
  17. I respect both, even though I may like neither. There is a huge difference between liking someone and respecting them. And for soldiers saying they would not follow the President. Show me one Marine, Soldier, Sailor, or Airmen that would actually disrespect the President to his face or not follow an order that came directly from the President and then we will talk.
  18. I have a Storm 170, I love it. The flare on it is really nice making the landings great. Let us know what you think of it, oh and I also second paying the packer, the thing is one huge pain in the ass to pack.
  19. I think this is one of the dumbest videos I have ever seen. I am also a Marine and understand that each service member may have their opinions about the President but at the end of the day you and I are going to do our job because that is what we are paid to do. I also understand that there are many people in the service who are not going to respect the President but in my opinion and atleast in the Marine Corps' opinion (Im not sure about the other services), you keep that shit to yourself. I find it pretty disgusting that there were Marines who refused to go and see the President of the United States speak just because they don't like him. I personally think it doesn't matter who is the President, everyone (especially in the service) should respect the office.
  20. I think you mean a HUGE DONT DO THIS, probably four or five time.
  21. Yeah that did cross my mind. I understand Air Tec wanting to show that their product does save lives, but this might be a stretch on what is reasonably acceptable for the marketing world.
  22. My thing is, I am assuming the person is an experienced skydiver being he is wearing a camera, maybe they do it differently in Germany, but god damn that ground rush right before the AAD fires is crazy not to mention the 8 second canopy flight.
