I had a customer tell me it was such a nice day that he was leaving work early to go fly his de Havilland plane. I asked him what model and he said “I don’t know but it sounds like you know more about it than I do”. I let it go. These retards are everywhere and i would never let it fly. They need to be put in their place and realize what they are doing is so fucked up.

Plus, I rarely see operators wear the "gear" of their organization. Usually the only people wearing the t-shirts, jackets and hats are the fans. I am also a Marine. I see why someone wouldn't want him to wear the t-shirt if he is not a Marine, but since he said he just wears it because he supports the Marines I am all good with it. It would be a way different story if he said he was a Marine and when you ask him a question regarding the Corps he has no idea what the fuck he is talking about. That warrants an ass chewing. I think its good to have people who freely admit that they are just supporters of the military rather than fuckers who just say they are in the service when they have really never served a day in their lives.

I was doing some training up at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, Cali. When I was leaving I was flying out of Reno. There were two SSgt's one Gunny, and one Master Sergeant on my flight. All four of these Marines were Drill instructors at the recruit depots. Anyway, we are walking through the terminal and out comes this "Marine" in full dress blues. The only problem was, he had no ribbons or medals on, he had a Lance Corporal rank on while wearing trousers with a blood stripe. (Enlisted Marines get their blood stripe when they are promoted to full Corporal) and he was wearing Sketchers boots. I hear the Gunny, say "oh fuck no" B-lined it to this kid, then all four of them tore him up in the middle of the airport terminal. They then turned him over to the Police and he was arrested.

I enjoyed this as well.

When you don't turn the AC down to 55 when its too damn hot in your apartment because you actually have to pay utilities instead of thinking it doesn't matter the school pays it no matter how much ac we use.

What are not in those statistics is that in those landings where injuries occurred, they skydiver was most likely performing a high performance landing (something you will not be doing on your first jump), or flying a canopy that they are not prepared to fly (a canopy that is too small, or too high performance for their skills). Like stated above, you will learn a lot in your first jump course. By the end you will have the necessary skills to successfully complete your first jump.

Skydive Deland. Pretty close to Daytona. I trained there and jump there all of the time. Great instructors there too.

I am glad someone brought this up. There are too many people in this world that think AR 15's are military weapons because they look like them. Like quoted above, they generally shoot .223 or .556. And they are also for the most part just semi-automatic, no three shot burst like its military counterpart. So for all of you that want to ban AR 15's you also may want to look at any semi-automatic rifle with a bigger round, such as a 30-06 or 7mm. The argument just doesn't make sense.

What about ATR's or M203's?

I know of someone who dislocated their shoulder in freefall, lost use of their left arm. I am assuming they made only right turns. When it came to the flare they grabbed both toggles with the one hand and flared down the center of their body and landed without incident.

Tell your friend to look into hotels in Lake Buena Vista, thats the actual city that Walt Disney World is in, not Orlando. If your friend decides to stay in downtown Orlando or close to that, its a pretty good hoof to Disney World. Most hotels will have shuttles to the parks. Also tell your friend, to look online for hotel deals because they are definitely out there.

Ok, well your friend needs to be checked for mental handicaps that may have gone un-noticed (no offense) if he thinks a machete is superior to a katana. You can buy a machete at Wal-Mart for $6.00. The little kid got what he deserved, he got his ass kicked. I just hate it when I see little entitled fucks try to fuck with people because they think they are better than whoever they are picking on. Maybe this kid learned his lesson, probably not and I wouldn't be surprised if one day soon there is a news article about the little viral video kid that got his ass whipped is now dead because he tried to pick on some kid again, and said kid stuck a ball point pen in his neck and just walked away.

On the few bigways (100+ jumpers) I have seen there was always that one fucker that opened below 2000 kinda made me cringe a little bit watching from the ground. Atleast at the DZ I go too I know a lot of the big ways are done from 18k, would it be that big of an issue to raise exit altitude to 18,500 to get those few extra seconds of free fall time?

I own a pair, never jumped in them, but am considering it now. I dont see how it is that different than a shoe other than possibly stubbing your toe would probably be a little easier in these rather than shoes.

I would say that these kids are definitely on the liberal side of the spectrum, but the problem is that its people like this that give the democrats or liberals a terrible name in this country. My solution to this whole problem is have all the kids come back into an assembly to talk about how we hate the military and then proceed to put 11 bullets in each one of them to see how they like it. Then maybe they will be thankful that they have people who are willing to go bear that burden for them.
